Spirulina is natural fresh water Algae found in lakes in Africa and America it is harvested for its health benefits in humans. We use Spirulina as a proven fertility enhancer and calcium booster for our birds.

It is not our place to extol the virtues of Spirulina as a health supplement for humans, there is much written about its benefits on the internet

Spirulina is very easy to use and is a safe product, we simply add 2.5 grams of Spirulina powder to 5 litres of drinking water and we give it to our birds once a week. We have tested the product and found it to be invaluable in relation to the fertility ratios of our hatching eggs, the eggs also have tougher shells than the eggs laid by the birds that were not given Spirulina, and the general appearance of the birds are much better than those that were not given the product.

All of our birds are now given Spirulina.

This device was initially developed to sex fish at our hatchery, it was also found to be able to accurately sex birds, reptiles and mammals such as guinea pigs and rabbits which are difficult to sex when young (works on humans too). We knew that it could be used to sex eggs at the pipping stage but did not know that it could be used to sex eggs before incubation. This fact was discovered by one of our customers who had purchased Magnasexer. Initially we were a bit sceptical but trials were carried out and it works!!!!

This means that we can tell if eggs are fertile before incubation and the sex the chicks are going to be, it does not however tell if all fertile eggs will hatch that is down to mother nature and incubation methods. We now check every egg we send out with the device in an attempt to ensure our customers get 100% fertile eggs.

Use of the device will mean that male eggs that are not required can be removed before incubation as can infertlie eggs.

We have sold over 100 Magnasexers and the feedback has been excellent. It works by picking up on the natural magnetic forces emitted by all living creatures and converts it into either kinetic energy ie swings like a pendulum for males or centrafugal energy swings in ever increasing circles for females.
If the egg is infertile it simply hangs there and does nothing. The same principal is applied to birds etc pendular for males, circular for females. It was checked on our coturnix (quail) which we knew the sex of and it was 100% accurate in every test. We know that unfortunately this device does not work for everyone but unlike other vendors if it doesn't work for you, any member of your family or a friend we WILL accept returns within 21 days.
